Walk the Talk
"Mellan Rummen" (Between Spaces) is a Walk the Talk concept designed to boost collective intelligence, based on the idea of pay-it-forward, hold the space and explore system questions too complex to solve alone. It has been tried at Almedalen, Frihamnsdagarna, on the book Loud Summer and soon Wellbeing as an economic model.

"Mellan Rummen" creates space for what we often lack: reflection together on issues without clear answers. During Frihamnsdagarna in Gothenburg (August 29), participants gathered for a walk from Götaplatsen to Bananpiren - a journey that became a room for deep conversations, collective intelligence and shared reflection on the big questions that require collective solutions:
- How can we shape an economy that works within planetary boundaries?
- How do we create change in systems that in turn transform other systems?
- How do we connect our daily choices to larger ecological, economic and social contexts?
The episode rests on a simple but powerful idea: reflection is a way of development - both alone and together with others. Because it is in conversation that new knowledge emerges, free from our own patterns of thinking.

Over three days, we hosted walks and conversations along the sea in Almedalen to explore transformative challenges - from extractive to regenerative business models, phasing out fossil fuels, and Ukraine's reconstruction as a democratic model. Each day, small groups discussed systemic change, seeking new ways to think, measure, and act together.
Our goal was to create dialogic spaces - places for deep listening, shared learning, and holding complexity in a fragmented world. These walks, called "Mellan Rummen" (Between Spaces), offered a "slow thought" alternative to rapid, polarized debates.
Co-organized by Christina Carlmark (We Don't Have Time), David Björneloo (Frihamnsdagarna), Siri Maassen (The New Foundation), Elin Bergman (Cradlenet), Katarina Serdiuk (Re:power Ukraine), and Mattias Axelson (Spotify podcast Circular Business Innovation).

Sweden's Path to Circular Economy Leadership. At just 3.4% circular, Sweden has room to grow. In this discussion, Anja Vanhatalo, Mattias Axelson, and Elin Bergman join politicians from across the spectrum (M, S, C, MP) to explore how Sweden can lead in circular economy.
