We want to help you succeed. The first meeting before production starts, is about better understanding who the intended audience is and the purpose of the film. We also talk about how to best tell a story that meets the goals we set up. Lastly, we look at how to distribute the finished short films in social media channels and locations where people meet in person.
As a documentary film maker we come to listen. We do not write a script, but use relevant questions to carve out a story and let the lead character do the talking. By agreeing on keywords early on about what we want to communicate, we come to an agreement between client and filmmaker and can start filming.
There is but one documentary film maker that arrives at the film scene with the equipment in a backpack. Unlike other video production companies, we do not use hired actors and a script. Instead, we film scenes from reality that fit into the overarching storyline and strive to capture the lives of real people, the issues they struggle with and how they handle them with pride.
After filming, it is time to edit and create a story with the best shots and lines tied to the film´s purpose and tone. We add music and soundscapes, as well as graphic elements. The client gives feed-back and collaborate on improvements before the final version is delivered.
Naturally, if you want your films to have an impact, they need to be seen. Most of our clients take care of the distribution themselves, so we deliver a detailed distribution plan with key word optimisation to help you name and describe your film. Should you prefer more involvement from our side, we will assist in developing a strategy and implementing the distribution plan through various media channels.
