THE KÅRSTA SPIRIT – A film about community, milk, and the courage to care
It begins with cows being let out to pasture – but soon something much bigger unfolds. This documentary follows the people behind a thriving rural village, where a small country store becomes the heart of the community, where children and adults meet at eye level, and where old values of mutual support are revived.
With both humor and reflection, the film weaves together scenes from everyday life with deeper questions about what truly holds a community together – and helps it grow. From milk stands to mobile payments, from punk bands to volunteer work, from the calm of the countryside to the realization that what we do together truly matters.
